Spruill Conservation Farm (SCF) intends to support and promote research, education, and access while forever conserving the scenic, open space, agricultural, wildlife, relatively natural habitat, recreational, and educational values of the Easement Property. The SCF provides space for low-impact recreational purposes including wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, primitive camping, and hishing. The Easement Property provides space for educational purposes such as research, citizen science, and outdoor experiences for all ages.

To get to the Farm Tract from Research Triangle Park, begin traveling on I-40 E and continue for 21.4 miles. Keep left at the fork to continue on I-440 W/I-87/US-64, follow signs for Rocky Mount. Use the right two lanes to take exit 14 for US-64 E/US-264 E toward Rocky Mt/Wilson. Then continue onto US-64 E for 96 miles. Take exit 515 for US-64 E toward Plymouth/Manteo. Continue on US-64 E for 23.3 miles, then turn left onto NC-32 N. Continue for 8.6 miles, then turn left onto Spruills Loop Road. The gated entrance for the Easement Property will be on the right approximately 0.2 miles down.
